Relégué en Ligue 2 après une saison difficile, le club lorrain prépare sa reconstruction avec l’objectif de retrouver rapidement l’élite du football français.
Un an après avoir décroché son billet pour la Ligue 1 à l’issue des barrages, le FC Metz n’a pas réussi à confirmer parmi l’élite. Hormis une courte embellie à l’automne, les Grenats ont passé une grande partie de la saison dans la zone rouge, occupant régulièrement la dernière place du classement. Une situation qui a finalement conduit à une relégation en Ligue 2, au terme d’un exercice particulièrement compliqué.
Cette descente marque le début d’un nouveau chantier pour le club lorrain. Arrivé en cours de saison, Benoît Tavenot ne poursuivra pas l’aventure, obligeant les dirigeants à ouvrir un nouveau chapitre avec un entraîneur différent et un projet sportif à reconstruire.
Le mercato 2026 sera donc déterminant pour l’avenir du FC Metz. Comme souvent après une relégation, plusieurs ajustements importants sont attendus, avec des départs de joueurs à forte rémunération et une refonte partielle de l’effectif afin de s’adapter aux réalités économiques de la Ligue 2. Entre recrutements ciblés, jeunes à relancer et possibles ventes majeures, les Grenats devront bâtir un groupe capable de jouer immédiatement les premiers rôles dans la course à la remontée.
Le mercato estival ouvre ses portes le 15 juin et se referme le 1er septembre à 20h00.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
